The vastness that is the Desert may seem daunting to many. To me, however, it is a piece of nostalgia that never fails to amaze me. I wanted to project one existing location into another to create an entirely new space. 

 

My outcome sits within the third principle: ‘The heterotopia is capable of juxtaposing in a single real place several spaces, several sites that are in themselves incompatible’ - Michel Foucault.
